Christmas - Take Time to Enjoy It

December 24th, 2008 No Comments »

Christmas is a busy time of the year, a time to be thankful for what you have and to share with others. For the past week or so, I’ve been wrapping gifts and filling stockings. Now that my children are grown, it’s much easier to get everything done ahead of time. Of course, I miss having small children in the house eagerly looking forward to Christmas.

Someone sent me a link to a nice YouTube Christmas video. If you enjoy music as much as I do, you’ll like this rendition of White Christmas

Tomorrow will be a day for family. We’ll be visiting my daughter’s house so we can watch the grandchildren open all of their presents. Then my parents will stop by in the afternoon to spend some time with me and my husband.

If you’ve been dreading Christmas and hate all of the hustle and bustle, remember why we celebrate Christmas. Take time to read the Christmas story with your family and enjoy being together for yet another year.
