I found the following quote on Twitter yesterday:

“You are the only person on earth who can use your ability.” ~ Zig Ziglar

This one really speaks to me because I have often had a problem with poor self-esteem and lack of confidence. Many times I have felt that my abilities were not as wonderful or useful as those of my family, friends, or coworkers.

Reading this quote helps me to focus on the fact that I have abilities that no one else has. Other people may have something similar, maybe even something I consider to be better than what I have. However, they are not me and do not have the motivation that lives inside my heart and soul.

I believe that when I decide to use the ability I have, doors will open and ideas will flow. Ultimately, I will find the best way for me to use my ability. As I’ve mentioned before in other posts, you never know who is watching or following you in your circle of acquaintances. Your ability, however small or insignificant it may seem, can make all the difference in someone else’s life.
