Little Eyes Are Watching You

The other day my two and a half year old grandson looked up at me and said, “Your shirt pretty, Nana.” That was the first compliment he has given me and will no doubt not be the last. It was so sweet coming from that special little guy.

In Appreciation for My Husband

For the past two weeks I’ve been under the weather and it was all I could do just to get through the basics everyday. Right now one of those basics is babysitting  my three grandchildren pretty much every day. There were days when I would go fill glasses of water, change diapers, break up fights, and lie down in between each episode. If  it weren’t for my husband, life would have been pretty miserable. Since his work schedule is flexible, he stayed home and helped out as often as he could.
